Mission statement


We believe that a regular mind-body practice such as Pilates improves our quality of life, makes us stronger, more flexible and balanced, physically as well as mentally.


Pilates People Cork wants to provide a safe space in which we can relax into our own bodies and rediscover a joy and freedom of movement, regardless of age and ability, while promoting self acceptance, self respect and self knowledge.


We are not promoting an idealized one-size-fits-all form of health and beauty, but a sense of strength, flexibility, balance and relaxation in our own bodies and our own lives.


We believe that a regular movement practice can make us happier and more fulfilled, making a difference to other people’s lives too.
